Where in Montreal are you located?
Villeray

What do you love about your neighborhood?
It's very chill calm vibes, Jarry Park, the thrifting, good cafes, the market!

What’s your favourite art space in Montreal and why?
I don't have one...

Describe your art in your own words.
I can strongly say Songwriting

What have you been working on recently?
I've been working on new music, experimenting with a lot of different directions, trying to figure an authentic path to take. i have a few singles I like and want to share

What sparked your passion for music?
hmmm i've always loved singing, its always brought me joy since i was a kid. I also have also wanted to be heard and have attention and feel like what i'm saying is important to ppl. I also love talking about my feelings. being a songwriter serves a lot of those needs. i feel like my answer is more of a "why" than a "what" lol. I don't have the "what" per se. but i knew i wanted to be a songwriter from a Rocking with Judy Jetson tape i got at a garage sale when i was a kid

Describe your sound.
sonically it used to be pop/hip-hop with elements of punk and dance, it think now its developing in an indie pop/rap with additional elements of alt-rock, rnb, jungle, and whatever else catches my ear at the time of creation . lyrically i'm moving towards whats really real to me vs the bravado and egoism of my early tracks. so raw, unfiltered, honest

What does your creative process look like?
looks like living, and listening to the stories around me and from me, my emotions, and channeling it into something the feels right. and then endless tweaking after the fact - i'm a bit of a perfectionist

Who are your biggest musical influences?
iamamiwhoami, SZA, FKA Twigs, Doja Cat... lmfaooo which is funny bc my released stuff sounds nothing like that.

What do you love about playing live?
the energy, seeing ppl connect with my music in real time always feels so special!
